Klean Industries Inc., a leading manufacturer of tire pyrolysis equipment, and Reoil, a developer of sustainable solutions for end-of-life tire recycling, have announced an expansion of their partnership. This expansion includes the implementation of KleanLoop, an advanced tracking and identification system powered by artificial intelligence (AI), in a reference plant located in Bukowno, Poland.
KleanLoop is designed to enhance transparency and efficiency in recycling processes by enabling closed-loop operations. This technology will be integrated into the Bukowno plant, aiming to improve the recycling of end-of-life tires and contribute significantly to environmental sustainability. The technology also facilitates enhanced ESG (environmental, social, and governance) reporting, allowing for precise measurement of CO2 impacts and offsets throughout the supply chain.
Michal Mikuskiewicz, founder of Reoil, emphasized the strategic importance of KleanLoop, stating that its integration represents a commitment to enhancing operational transparency and advancing closed-loop practices in the tire recycling industry.
Anders Bergman, president of European operations and head of Klean Loop at Klean, remarked on the significance of integrating this technology into an established project, highlighting its role in promoting circularity within product lifecycles.
Jesse Klinkhamer, CEO of Klean, praised the collaborative efforts of both companies, noting their pioneering role in the tire pyrolysis sector and their success in producing premium recovered carbon blacks. This partnership not only sets a precedent in the industry but also underscores the potential for innovative technology to revolutionize end-of-life tire management.
