In 1973 AHP started as a one-man business in the southern part of the Black Forest and rapidly developed into a vigorously expanding company. Gerhard Merkle firstly expanded the development and design functions and, a little later, the production.
It was very soon apparent that the storehouse was no longer sufficient for the growing requirements and this was also enlarged. This started a development that has successfully continued up to the present day, with more than 120 employees throughout Europe now contributing to the company's success - AHP Merkle still remains a family company with more than 13 foreign representatives.
AHP Merkle employs the latest technologies in order to guarantee the precision, operation and reliability of all its products. From raw material to the finished component the individual product passes through the perfectly matched together production processes.
The large percentage of in-house manufacture enables us to extensively dispense with the outsourcing of individual components. Our facilities for manufacture of our quality products include
Our comprehensive standard programme and large stock of complete cylinders and individual components enable us to ensure extremely short delivery times and also fast reaction to spontaneous customer enquiries.
Moreover, our strengths also include continuous efforts towards perfecting and expanding our range of products and flexible, customer-orientated solutions to problems.
