A314E/A324E-L
The A314E/A324E-L Wire Feed System represents a new generation of wire feeder for welding robots and is based upon a basic solution that has been well proven. The special feature of these wire feed systems is their very wide wire feed speed range, from 0.5m/min to 30 m/min. This wire feed speed range is extended compared to previous version. The high resolution, low wire feed speed capability gives optimum performance during arc starts and excellent arc characteristics when welding with low wire feed speeds. The high wire feed speed performance during high speed welding is also enhanced all the way up to 30 m/min. This performance is achieved through the use of an advanced precision control system. This Wire Feed System is predominantly used for Mild Steel & Stainless Steel welding.
IRB6660 for press tending
The optimised press tending robot The main goal of IRB 6660 is to provide a faster robotics solution within the press tending application. Concerning part transferring operations, it’s very important to reduce press occupation time. By improving the robot speed performance, the output of the press line is greatly increased. Optimised for press tending The new striff design together wiht the long reach is perfect for high-performance press tending applications. This results in high accuracy and uptime. A fast robot This robot is fast, and 15% shorter cycle times are normally achieved inside the presses. High productivity The overall cycle time is directly affected by using this faster robot, and so the line output. Longer lifetime The most gears have been reinforced, gear life time is also improved when running fast in press tending. Using proven components from the IRB 6600 family creates an extremely reliable robot.
RobotPress Synchronization
Mechanical and Hydraulic Presses With Robot-Press Synchronization, the robot follows the press movement, smoothly adapting its speed on-the-fly to optimize cycle time and minimize mechanical stresses. Benefits Best cycle time The robot always reaches position at the right moment. It never stops in front of the press. The improvement will be directly reflected by the productivity of the whole line. Estimated around 5 - 8 % of robot cycle time improvement. Easier programming No expertise needed for cycle time optimization. Optimization is done completely on-line, without stopping line production. Selectable “classical” control or sync control. Automatic adaptation The robot speed adapts perfectly to line cycle changes. Improved safety Due to reduced collision risk. Robot wait for a fixed sensor position to avoid movement transitories. Immediate detection of unexpected stops. Online supervision of robot position with respect to the press. Quick line restart after sync stop. Better maintainability Fewer corrective actions are needed. Less mechanical unit and electrical wear.

BoltMaker
Our BoltMaker combines two-step heading, reducing, pointing and thread-rolling as completely automatic high-speed applications in one machine, independent of the length of the products, without any additional handling – a major advantage against any combination of separate units. The most significant advantage of our BoltMaker however is it’s modular concept. This way each machine can be exactly focussed on our customers’ needs and specially designed to user specifications. Any completion or upgrading which might become necessary at a later stage may already be considered during design and construction of the machine and will so allow for an immediate reaction to changing markets and conditions. infinitely variable drive full power also at low speed all movements mechanically combined programmable logic control central lubrication system centralized supply of cooling lubricants Wire feeding is operated by servo-engine and reaches a maximum length tolerance of ±0.05 mm (±.002") without additional trim cut. The compact machine only requires little space and may be installed without foundation or baseplate. As a matter of course we are also prepared to supply straighteners, decoilers and further peripheral equipment adjusted to the machine capacity.
Flat-Die Thread-Roller
Partly due to EU regulations - the demand of fully threaded screws for wood construction has continuously increased on the European market. Following this demand we developed a Flat-Die Thread-Roller for the production of fully threaded screws in 2005. The prototype had been designed and manufactured for a maximum thread length of 600 mm (24"). The main difference and also the main advantage against other systems is the horizontal feeding of the blanks, similar to our BoltMaker. The successful operation of the prototype has led to the manufacturing of further machines designed for a maximum thread length of 800 mm (32"). powered by frequency controlled three phase AC motor full power also at low speed all movements mechanically combined programmable logic control central lubrication system centralized supply of cooling lubricants As a further option the machine may also be equipped with a pointing unit or the Thread-Roller and our BoltMaker may be interlinked. Other applications for the machine concept are currently under investigation. Also a combination with a hydraulic drive might make sense in order to offer a wider range of applications.
Hydraulic Tube Benders
For bending of gas-pipes, water-pipes, tubes for gasoline-stations and boiler-tubes we supply hydraulic tube benders consisting of frame, counter-brackets and hydraulic pump. Alternatively the benders are supplied with an open or hinged frame. The pumps are either hand-pumps or fitted with electro-drive for 240 V or 400 V A/C. Dependent on the type, the standard bender will be supplied with segments for 90° bending of pipe diameters up to 3” starting from 3/8”. We can also deliver metric segments or supply segments for bending up to 180°. For tubes with smaller wall-thickness we manufacture a special type of bender – again with hand-pump or electric pump and the appropriate sets of bending segments.
Rod-Header
For heading or ulterior cold-forming of wires with up to 20 mm (3/4") in diameter we design and manufacture mechanical and hydraulic rod headers with a production capacity of 5 to 50 ppm (hydraulic) and up to 230 ppm (mechanical). Depending on their range of application the machines are equipped with either one or two heading units. Each unit can take up to two heading tools. If requested the rod header can also be designed for simultaneous heading of both ends of a blank. Feeding of the blanks can be either manual or automatic. The blanks can be fed pre-cut and straightened from a magazine or directly from a coil via our decoiler WFS and our cutting system. Adjusting the wire diameter as well as the length of the product can be provided variable to a large extend. The heading stroke may be up to 400 mm (16"). Examples for the use of our Rod-Header Stud-bolt blanks, muffle-hangers, mandrels, building bars
Spoke Machines
Spoke machines are the origin of today’s BoltMaker for screws and bolts. The spoke machines of the fi rst generation were built some 50 years ago. The current generation, the 5th generation of this group of machines, called SpM II includes our feeding System WFS with a cutting tolerance of ± 0,05 mm (± .002"). Like our BoltMaker, all production steps of our SpM II are combined in one machine. Production capacity is infi nitely variable up to 300 spokes per minute. Spoke Press For production of fl at spokes we offer a special combination consisting of a spoke machine and a press.
Straightening Machines
Machines for the straightening of long bolts and screws after heat treatment have been part of our production programme for many years. These machines are designed to straighten the screws and bolts in the thread-free shank area only. In the past this was completely sufficient. For the new fully-threaded screws, however, these machines cannot be used, because the thread would be damaged by the straightening rolls. Therefore we developed a new generation of straightening machines specially designed for fully-threaded screws up to 800 mm (24") in length, using profiled straightening rolls that fit the respective threads. Feeding the parts into the machine is effected by our approved spindle system, machine capacity approx. 30 parts per minute.
