Brushing Machines
The BM series of brushing machines called BM2 - BM4 is incorporating 2 to 4 brush heads at a diameter of 400 mm. As BM 2/1 this machine has been deliverd over 50 times to companies that produce 3-D membrane pressed doors. As rustical / texturing brushing machine it is installed at many well knows solid Wood floor manufacturers all over the world for removing the soft Wood zones.
Deburring machines:
The company Paul Ernst is technology leader in the market of deburring equipment. Machines are available as well for deburring of punched and laser cut parts, as well as deburring/deslagging machines for flame- and plasma cut parts. With a complete range of machines in a building set design these machines are build 100% to the customers application. One of the most important features and reason for the superiority of the ERNST deburring equipment is the highly flexible grinding cylinder. Due to ist hard core and soft outside, it adjustes to the surface of the workpieces independent from tolerance and warpage. It is extremely robust, as it works only with its own weight and is capable to rise several millimeters if for example a wrong workpiece thickness is choosen.
Dry deburring machines
Dry working deburring machines are characterized by very little amount of maintanance. They are extremely robust and should be choosen, if no material mix has to be processed, as e.g. in steel service application. Main applications are: - Steel service for deburring of flame- and plasma cut parts - Stainless Steel fabricators as e.g. Kitchen manufacturers
Models 830 / 840
For the door, furniture and Wooden floor industry using lacquering lines, at feed speed over 20 to 24 m/min ERNST suggest the usage of 3 head sanders with one cross and two wide belts. These heavy Industry machines are running in many well knows companies throughout Europe and North America. For very high feed speeds ERNST is offering 4 head sanders with up to 5 pressure beams achieving feed speeds of up to 50 m/min.
The model 810 is a sanding machine with one wide belt sanding unit and two brush heads
This model typically is used for laquer sanding in laquering lines with feed speed of up to 25 m/min. It also is used for a fine veneer sanding of pre sanded parts, directly in front of laquering lines. The type 810 is available in Simlex and Duplex execution, which incorporates 2 pressure beams in one wide belt. For feed speeds over 25 m/min the TYPE 850 is recommended, incorporation 2 wide belt units and 2 brush heads.

ERLENBACH ENGINEERING.DE-DUSTING UNIT
The feeding of the Erlenbach de-dusting system is carried out continually using the mill blower. Specially designed turbulence strips create a tangential turbulence as well as transporting the grains axially against a screen mesh. The dust particles are blown through the screen mesh into the downstream hose filter unit using air from the blower and are filled in special dust sacks. The coarse grains are directed through a separate outlet to a conveyor blower from where the material is then carried to the next processing unit. Advantages: Residual dust in the mill grain lies below 1% Maintenance-friendly and self-cleaning Small installation area / little space required A downstream filter unit is individually dimensioned for the respective operating conditions whereby maintenance of the limit values for the residual dust concentration of discharged air is guaranteed.

EREMA Double Disc Technology DD
Many Erema-type plastic recycling applications suffer under problematic feeding influences such as high residual moisture and large density variations in the feed material, as well as too large feeding portions, which typically have a negative influence on the subsequent extrusion process. The extruder has to deal with these “adverses” and shows this in common with reduced or varying output performance, possibly inconsistent melting performance (moisture!), reduced product quality and increased wear, besides reduced overall productivity.
EREMA Filter Systems for Thermoplastics
As the worldwide leader in manufacturing of plastics recycling equipment Erema has a wealth of experience in filtering polymer melts. Over the years polymer filtration has become one of Erema's key areas of expertise, due to its quality-defining aspects. There are currently more than 2000 Erema polymer filters being used all over the world for numerous different applications to the satisfaction of Erema's customers. As your reliable partner for filtration solutions we offer a wide production program of advanced filter systems, comprehensive advice, prompt service and worldwide support. The Technical Centre at our headquarters in Linz/Austria gives you the opportunity to conduct filtration tests under realistic production conditions. Different melt filter systems for almost any specific requirement Criteria such as throughput capacity range and type of application, besides individual process requirements, are critical factors in choosing the most cost-efficient melt filter solution. Our wide range of filters and the various sizes available mean that you will nearly always find a custom Erema filter system to meet your specific needs. Erema melt filters meet the very highest quality standards and are characterised by their heavy-duty construction, high degree of automation and high-performance availability. Our products range from simple, manual lever-operated pivot disc safety filters to one-, two- or four-piston partial area backflush screen changers as well as the high end laser filter for heavily-contaminated polymers.
Laser Filter: The Filter with the extreme separating capacity
The name ”Laser Filter“ originates from the fact that the core elements of this filtering system, the filter screens, are drilled (shot through) using laser technology, with the holes designed conically, making them self-cleaning. (see picture below) Used plastic waste contains a large proportion of unwanted material and contamination. Despite complex washing and separating processes, the removal of residual contamination through the melt filtration system in the subsequent extrusion process causes huge problems, particularly in terms of economic efficiency. Conventional melt filtering technology on the market fails to meet the demands in many cases. This is all the more so if the used plastic waste is to be used to manufacture pellets (recyclate) in film quality. In order to perform these tasks, Erema has developed a continuous high-capacity filtering system: the EREMA LASER FILTER. A quantuum leap in filtering capacity When traditional cartridge filters with wire mesh screens are used, heavy contamination of the screens rapidly results in excess pressure, switching off the extruder in seconds. Using the Laser filter, a continuous filtration and thus extrusion process can be maintained for days and even weeks. Comparisons made in the Erema’s technical centre and in many customer applications confirm the impressive capacity of the new filtering system, e.g. in filtering plastic melt from washed post-consumer plastic waste. The results: 3 –5 minutes screen change interval using traditional cartridge screen changers high personnel costs high risk of injury limited filtering capacity 2 hours screen change interval with modern state-of-the-art partial area backflush screen changers (e.g. Erema SW 8/170 RTF) reduced personnel costs reduced risk of injury increased filtering capacity 600 –1000 hours screen change interval with the EREMA LASER FILTER! extremely high filtering capacity practically no need for personnel minimum melt loss fully automatic constant pressure operation
The Erema VACUREMA technology for PET processing and PET recycling
This unique, well proven and extremely flexible technology can process PET materials and any blends of materials coming along in the form of virgin pellets, post consumer bottle flakes, preground preform flake, preground cut out frames from thermoforming, precut fibre waste, and others, without external upstream crystallisation and without upstream predrying, in various bulk densities, into melt filtrated, virgin-like pellets or directly into end products such as sheet, fibre or strapping. Different plant concepts can be configured depending on customers' individual requirements regarding required IV and required degree of decontamination.
TVE Extruder
Erema TVE extruder design: superior degassing efficiency In various cases (when processing particularly strongly printed, heavily contaminated and/or wet plastic waste) we experienced that conventional degassing extruders do not meet today's requirements in daily recycling practice. This prompted Erema to develop a unique, patented technology: the TVE-extruder design of Erema with melt filter upstream of the extruder venting. The simple yet superior design of this plant combines optimum degassing with finest possible filtration. This rules out the well-known disadvantages of conventional degassing extruders, e.g. limited ability to overcome pressure, sensibility to clogged screens, insufficient degassing, which may even be too low for further processing (particularly in the case of heavily printed or heavily contaminated feeding material).
