Air filters
Hydraulic cylinders, which are intended to have a long service life, must of course not be impaired in their function. For non-applied hydraulic cylinder spaces or oil tanks the danger exists that inflowing air may enable foreign bodies to enter the interior of hydraulic systems. These are indeed capable of causing major damage. This can be prevented by using Hänchen air filters. Air filters from the Hänchen range of products are one of the typical Hänchen developments, which in the meantime form the basis of the general Hänchen quality standards. They are suitable for the filtering of flowing air and gas and can be used up to maximum temperatures of 100 °C.

Ratio-Drive® system solutions
The high-performance linear drive, a controlled electrohydraulic drive – the way to get things moving for you! • You want to implement specific movements and speed profiles? • You want to move to any given position or height and do it time and again? Plug and play: immediately useable Ratio-Drive® from Hänchen is a self-contained, ready-to-use system solution for practically any application. This high-performance regulated linear drive is the sum of „standardised“ components in combination with the attendant mechatronic services. It is tailored exactly to your needs. As a user the only thing that you have to provide is the hydraulic and electrical supplies. Independently strong – unbeatable in a team Without doubt the cylinder is the heart of every Ratio-Drive® system solution. Every user can call on its application as a single cylinder or as several cylinders within a self-contained circuit. In order to be capable of presenting an individual solution in the form of a system, the cylinder requires reliable ”system partners”, as only the practical combination of cylinder, components and mechatronic services can provide an individual and simultaneously effective solution. This includes the mechatronics (every Hänchen cylinder with integrated linear positioning system is a part of a Ratio-Drive® system solution), electronics, the corresponding valves, the control unit and power supply. The Hänchen modular system The hydraulic cylinder is assembled according to the Hänchen modular system. The advice from our specialists, even directly on site, is your guarantee that you have chosen the right cylinder. In other words, the ideal conditions for a safe and reliably controlled electro-hydraulic drive – your Ratio-Drive® from Hänchen.
Test cylinder, servo cylinder and test cylinder with position measuring system
It’s not only in the aerospace industry that test cylinders made by Hänchen are success-fully used in highly demanding, decisive situations. Test and inspection facilities are now-adays an integral part of the industrial production process. The typical applications of Hänchen test cylinders include establi-shing the mobile safety of vehicles, the operational reliability of machines or the functional integrity of individual products, the testing of exhaust-gas systems or the function-ing of airbags, and much more. Products under development must also be tested along with existing ones in terms of long-service capability and reliability. These tests are increasingly being carried out in-house by companies – for reasons of time and cost. The fact that this is at all possible is in no small way attributable to Hänchen test cylinders. Variable in terms of their qualitative design and thus ideally suited for almost any application, they help

Gas filter
Dry seals for compressors and turbines require clean, dry gas to maintain seal integrity and ensure longevity. Gas seal support systems as specified in API-614 require filters and sometimes water-removing coalescers to ensure gas quality to the seals. For critical seal gas filtration, the ideal arrangement is to have “duplex” filters. In the duplex configuration, there is always one filter on-line filtering and/or “drying” the gas, even when the other filter element is being replaced. Dry Seal Gas Duplex Filters meeting API-614: • Reduce cost by eliminating expensive stainless steel fittings and assembly time. Compact design saves space • Simple duplex housing arrangement reduces possibility for incorrect operation and potential for shutting off the dry gas seal flow • Zero-leak integral transfer valve and double block valves provide assurance of tight shut off when replacing elements • 316 stainless steel materials • ASME code construction • Available with coalescing (liquid removal) and filter (particulate removal) cartridges • Designs to 2600 PSI
Membrane separation system
The HILCO ceramic membrane system is an ideal way to lower your oily-water waste disposal costs. The filtration system utilizes high-velocity fluid “crossflow” across the face of the membrane. The oil-free water passes through the ceramic membrane while the oily waste is concentrated in a process reservoir. Depending on the particular waste stream disposal, volumes can be reduced as much as 20x. The system is designed to accept three different micron-rated membranes (0.2 µm, 0.01 µm, and 0.005 µm) in order to meet all specific local discharge ordinances. Features and Benefits include: • High Packing Density • Broad PH Range of 2-13 • Resistant to Thermal Shock • Back Flushable • Immune to Chlorine Attack • Durable Ceramic Extends Lifetime • High Surface Area to Unit Volume • Compact Design
Oil mist eliminator
The HILCO vent mist eliminator is the answer to economically reclaiming the oily vapor found in the air stream of vents of lubrication oil systems on large, high-speed rotating equipment. These include gas turbines, turbo compressors, reciprocating engines and gearboxes. The vent mist eliminator improves safety by eliminating oily residue cause by setting oil mist on engine room floors, stairways, etc., keeps the environment clean and helps prevent exterior oil contamination of buildings and grounds. There are currently three versions available: Blower Assisted, Mist Eliminator with Heat Exchanger, and a Coalescer-Only model. All models have DM type coalescers and eliminate oil mist with an efficiency of 99.97% removal of all airborne contaminant regardless of particle size. Our vent mist eliminator collects, coalesces and filters the mist, significantly reducing visible oil plume. The captured oil is returned to the sump or crankcase, quickly and efficiently for reuse. Available in sizes and models to fit your specific application, HILCO vent mist eliminators are virtually maintenance free. Hilliard also makes HILCO-quality replacements for other brands of mist eliminators.
