Grit King
The Grit King® Process separates, cleans and dewaters grit from raw sewage and other liquids prior to delivering the grit to a skip ready for disposal. The Grit King® Process consists of a Grit King® Hydrodynamic Separator with backwashing system using air or water, a grit removal system (pump or gravity), a Grit-Cleanse™ or Grit Classifier and all connecting pipework. The Grit King® Separator requires no external power source, as it uses the inherent energy of the influent with a headloss of typically less than 150 mm.
Hydro-Brake
A self-activating device that uses vortex technology to control and attenuation flow in collection systems. The Hydro-Brake® Flow Control is a self-activating vortex flow control device that provides superior hydraulic performance over conventional flow regulators with patented features that reduce maintenance requirements. Hydro-Brake® Flow Controls harness the energy inherent in the flow field, they have no moving parts and no external energy requirements. With clear openings up to 600% larger than conventional flow control devices, the risk of blockage is reduced to an absolute minimum. In addition, the unique head discharge characteristics reduce storage volume requirements, thus lowering project costs. The Hydro-Brake® Flow Control offers cost savings on applications ranging from CSO diversion structures and flood control to stormwater storage facilities, treatment plants and other stormwater management schemes for new developments. Hydro International offers a variety of patented models designed to enhance performance in the most difficult and challenging situations. Our engineers can advise on how the Hydro-Brake® Flow Control can be customized to meet your requirements and provide the optimal solution for your projects.
Stormcell
Stormcell® is a low cost, underground storage system suitable for installation beneath roads, car parks and amenity areas and permits access for inspection. Stormcell® is installed utilising a patented pipework system which prevents the entry of silts and grits into the storage volume. Virtually maintenance free and more effective than conventional systems, Stormcell® is a high capacity stormwater storage system which can be designed to suit shallow, deep or irregular site requirements. Advantages • Modular and flexible. • Lightweight. • High structural integrity – suitable for installation below roads, car park and amenity areas. • Patented silt prevention system when installed correctly. • Very quick and easy to install.
Swirl-Flo
A high rate solids/liquid separation process suitable for primary treatment. The Swirl-Flo® Process employs the Hydrodynamic Separation principle to produce a complex, stable controlled flow regime providing maximum opportunity for flocculation and solids removal. The process can be used with or without chemical addition. Without coagulants and flocculants, the process provides the performance equivalent of conventional primary sedimentation in typically a fifth of the ground area, resulting in significant construction cost savings. The Swirl-Flo® Separator can be supplied as a freestanding vessel for low flow rates or as a collection of stainless steel components to be installed within a concrete shaft by others in the case of higher flow rates
Nilfisk-Advance
Nilfisk-Advance
Portable commercial vacuum cleaner
New range of Nilfisk backpack vacuum cleaners Nilfisk-Advance has introduced its GD 5 / GD 10 range of back-pack vacuum cleaners. Aimed primarily at cleaning contractors and institutional maintenance departments, these units complement the company’s existing backpacks to provide productive and ergonomic cleaning in all applications.
Street sweeper
Efficient outdoor sweeping for all seasons The Nilfisk-Advance Road Sweepers all have high suction and a strong airflow which allows them to pick-up bottles, stones and other heavy debris without clogging and a hydraulically operated flap ensures that these objects are picked up without having to stop the machine. The range in capacity from 500 to 1,300 litres, with large water tanks for enhanced cleaning time. All machines are equipped with stainless steel hoppers for longer working life. The small model can easily be transported from one job to another on a trailer. With a small wheel base it features an amazing turning radius that allows it to operate in narrow and congested spaces, such as parking lots, footpaths, sidewalks and loading bay areas. The larger models in the range combine powerful sweeping with compact design. Rear wheel drive and a short wheelbase allow the machine to manoeuvre easily even in the tightest situations and operate close up to walls and other obstacles. Both models have a joystick on the central console that operates all functions and minimizes any possible operator error.

Hayward Flow Control Systems
Hayward Flow Control Systems
Hayward EAU Series electric actuators
EAU Series For use with Ball Valves up to 2" GENERAL DESCRIPTION Corrosion Resistant: Hayward EAU Series electric actuators come standard with an all-polypropylene housing for superior corrosion resistance. These NEMA 4 plastic housings can stand up to harsh environmental and corrosive conditions. Best for On/Off Applications: These low cost, high quality electric actuators are the best choice for ball valves up to 2" where a manual override is not required and control options are not needed. Extra Features - No Extra Cost: Low cost doesn't mean stripped down. Hayward EAU Series electric actuators come standard with a mechanical brake for precise control of the actuation cycle. Also standard is one auxiliary limit switch which permits control of a remote electrical device. Plus, a thermal overload circuit protects the UL-listed motor from burnout and overheating. All models include a wiring terminal strip and come with a molded in mounting bracket. Two Models Available: The EAU 29 actuator is designed for true union ball valves and has a 90-degree, unidirectional rotation. The EAU 28 works with 3-Way ball valves and has a 180-degree unidirectional rotation. Both models have a 115 VAC motor with a 25% duty cycle.
Manual Diaphragm Valves
Manual Diaphragm Valves 1/2˝ - 6˝ PVC, 1/2˝ - 4˝ CPVC, 1/2˝ - 10˝ PPL, 1/2˝ - 8˝ PVDF GENERAL DESCRIPTION Overview Hayward all-plastic diaphragm valves are engineered to provide superior handling of difficult media such as corrosive fluids, abrasives and slurries. They can also be used for high purity and sanitary applications. Manual or Automated Available in manual or actuated (pneumatic or electric) models, the valves can be used for on/off and throttling service, feature a multi-turn design for precise control, and are self-draining on one side so that little to no dead volume remains in the valve. Standard material choices for the valve’s body include PVC, CPVC, PVDF and PPL. Each are available with EPDM, FPM or PTFE diaphragms, allowing service in a wide range of applications. Superior Design, Superior Performance The valve controls flow by varying the space between a stationary weir and a moveable flexible diaphragm. By compressing the diaphragm against the weir, all flow is shut off. The only wetted components are the lower half of the valve body and the diaphragm. The diaphragm’s stroke adjustment feature allows precise “tweaking” of diaphragm movement for very precise flow control. A large, sure-grip handwheel makes it easy to open or close the valve, and a beacon-type indicator provides highly visible position indication at the top of the valve’s rising stem. Connection Options Connection options include molded-in ANSI flanges and ASTM True Union socket end connectors.

R Series Magnetic Drive Pumps
RC03, RX05, RX07, RX10, RX15, RX20, RX30, RX50 GENERAL DESCRIPTION Using the latest, patented pump technology, Hayward’s Series R all-plastic, corrosion resistant pumps will stand up to the most aggressive, demanding industrial and commercial applications year in and year out. From the heavy duty, thick wall, glass reinforced polypropylene or ETFE pump body construction, to the rugged epoxy painted motors, there is simply no better mag drive plastic pump available anywhere. And Hayward backs every one of its Webster mag drive pumps with an extended two year warranty. With horsepower ratings from 1/3 to 5 HP, applications requiring flow rates from 5 to 140 GPM and with maximum total dynamic head discharges up to 141 feet, you will find a Webster Magnetic Drive Pump to meet your requirements. And because the process media never contacts metal, there is never a danger of pump failure due to rust or corrosion. Because they are magnetically driven, they have no seals, thus no emissions, leaks or expensive seal replacements.
Solenoid Valves
True Union Solenoid Valves - NPD Design 1/4" to 1" - PVC, and Corzan® CPVC GENERAL DESCRIPTION No Pressure Differential Design: For maximum application flexibility these heavy duty solenoid valves have been designed so that no pressure differential is needed for them to operate reliably. Their unique design eliminates problems such as sticking and "chattering" due to system pressure differentials that can effect ordinary solenoid valves. And their performance is not affected by downstream restrictions caused by nozzles, flow meters or other equipment. This is a real benefit in these types of applications. The valve will operate with up to 40 PSI of backpressure and up to 120 PSI of inlet pressure. There are no minimum pressure requirements. Normally Closed Operation: When electric power is applied to the solenoid, the electromagnetic coil is energized, opening the valve. When the coil is de-energized, the valve closes. Innovative Coil Design: Unique in design, the valve coil rectifies AC current to DC current, resulting in lower coil operating temperatures than other plastic solenoid valves. This permits the coil to be rated for 100% continuous duty applications. Thus, the valve can be left in the open position indefinitely or it can be cycled continuously with no coil damage. Unique Seal Cartridge: Hayward Solenoid Valves feature an easy to replace seal cartridge. No fumbling with small parts and o-rings to replace worn seals. Just install the one-piece cartridge containing the plunger assembly and all of the seals. Corrosion Resistant Coil: The powerful coil assembly and electronics are completely encapsulated in a molded polyester housing, resistant to the harsh corrosive environments to which solenoid valves are often exposed.
Swing Check Valves
Swing Check Valves 3" to 8" - PVC, Corzan® PVC and PPL GENERAL DESCRIPTION Twice the Temperature/Pressure Rating of Other Plastic Swing Check Valves: Hayward Swing Check valves have up to twice the temperature/pressure rating of other plastic swing check valves, and can replace metal valves in many applications. Compare the temperature/pressure rating of Hayward Swing Check Valves to others and see the difference. Unique Two-In-One Seat Design: Swing check valves are often used with slurries or other liquids that can damage the valve seat. A damaged seat in an ordinary swing check results in a useless, destroyed valve. But not with Hayward Swing Check Valves. They feature a unique two-in-one seat design that doubles the valve's service life. The valve body is constructed from two identical halves. If one seat is damaged, simply re-position the clapper so that it seats against the other body seat. Then reverse the valve in the pipeline. Now the valve is again ready for service.
