Foldgep Trans, based in Hungary, has become well-known within the construction industry but they are now set to spend HUF 2 billion on a plastics processing plant in southern Hungary. Set to launch in summer next year, the plant in Tiszasziget could start producing in the autumn of 2018 and could employ over 50 people once it reaches full production capacity.
Partly based on renewable energy, the heating and electrical equipment used will be modern technology in order to produce packaging for the food industry as well as technical plastics. The location already has an agricultural logistics industrial park planned, with a size of six hectares, and this latest investment is a part of this project.
