In 2016, Poland are expecting their food exports to reach €25.6 billion which would mean a rise of 3.7% compared to the previous year. Michal Kolesnikow, expert at Bank BGZ BNP Paribas, says that a bumper past few months are to thank for the good news.
Furthermore, experts are also expecting the growth to continue into 2017 - around 1.5% compared to the beginning of 2016. In recent times, it has been sweets, cereal, poultry, and pastries that have been the most popular for Poland and many believe that dairy products will be added to this list next year.
