Based in the Krasnoyarsk region of Russia, Boguchansky LPK has announced that they will be investing in a production facility with a capacity of 60ktpa. As well as sawdust, the factory will process chips and other saw milling wastes. In total, the new complex will have two pellet presses that are to be provided by CPM Europe of the Netherlands. In addition to this, rest units and two drum dryers will come from Hekotek.
According to Hekotek, the delivery will take place in March 2017 meaning that the assembly process can start in the summer of next year before completion towards the end of 2017. For all involved in Boguchansky, this is the plans finally coming to life after being discussed way back in 2014. Originally, there was a pulp production which would make up the second phase of production which was due to be commissioned in 2012.
