Back in February this year, MLT Ltd finally opened their new OSB production facility for business ending months of speculation. Called ‘Taleon Arbor’, it can be found within the Tver Region and is thought to have cost Vnesheconombank, the investors, over $350 million. Of course, the plant was commissioned back in September 2016 but the open date was uncertain for the 500,000 cubic metre plant; now the largest OSB facility in Russia.
Inside, the company has gone all-out on machinery and equipment from some of the biggest names including Leonhard, Dieffenbacher, Sinebogen, Transmec, Schwabedissen, Siemens, and more. With these machines, they now have the ability to produce binders free from formaldehyde as well as other environmentally-friendly products. Additionally, the plant will produce 250 prefabricated house kits per year.
