The Swiss concern Nestle is investing 50 million zloty (about 11.2 million euro) in a new manufacturing plant for the Winiary label, producing mayonaise, sauces and instant meals, in Kalisz, central Poland, to be opened in April 2010.

Nestle owns 8 factories in Poland and employs approximately 4,900 workers under the brands Winiary, Maggi, Nescafe, Princess, Kit Kat and Aero. The company's sales in Poland in 2008 measured over 2 billion zloty (about 467 million euro) profits
