According to the most recent statistics, and after a less than enjoyable 2016 for the Czechia building industry, it seems as though things are now turning around. Although the forecasts are a little cautious at this point, the industry is expected to grow by just over 2.6% in 2017 which is great news for the country and for the International Building Trade Fair.
Even though three-quarters of directors and company representatives are happy with the expected growth though, around one-quarter are slightly more pessimistic and believe the projections could be false. However, it’s important to note that most of these were from large building companies. At the other end of the industry, SMEs have reported a positive year.
Not only have these projections come from building companies, we’ve also heard murmurs from renovation planners and solo builders. If correct, the industry has also been predicted to grow by 1.5% in the long-term.
