GoodMills Bulgaria, a key player in the milling industry and a subsidiary of Austria's GoodMills Group, has recently announced the launch of a new packaging material warehouse following an investment of close to 500,000 levs (approximately $277,912/255,645 euros).
The new facility, covering 305 square meters with a storage capability of 298 pallet spots, is designed to enhance operational efficiency. It aims to optimize work processes and logistics, contributing to quicker inventory management and minimizing packaging material losses, as detailed in a press release by GoodMills Bulgaria.
Iliya Velikov, the managing director of GoodMills Bulgaria, emphasized that this project significantly boosts the company's storage capacity while enhancing the supply chain's efficiency and flexibility.
Established in 1986 and situated in Sofia, GoodMills Bulgaria stands as one of the Balkans' largest milling enterprises. Its facilities include three independent milling lines with a combined daily grain processing capacity of 750 tonnes. The company's infrastructure also features a concrete grain silo with a 40,000-tonne capacity, a silo for milled products capable of storing 11,000 tonnes, and a finished products warehouse spanning 4,000 square meters.
