TitanX Engine Cooling has inaugurated its new manufacturing facility at CTPark Opole, Poland. This global provider of truck cooling systems has commenced its production activities in the OPO3 building, an integral part of the CTPark Opole industrial and logistics hub. TitanX has expanded its operational space to 18,320 sqm, unifying all its engineering processes in this custom-built facility by CTP.
With a presence in countries like Sweden, Poland, Italy, China, the USA, Brazil, and Mexico, TitanX Engine Cooling specializes in developing and supplying powertrain cooling systems. The company is committed to contributing to the decarbonization of the transportation sector and aiding its clients in the creation of zero-emission vehicles. TitanX collaborates with many of Europe's leading truck manufacturers.
Cedric Huslin, CEO of TitanX, remarked, “The launch of our factory in the OPO3 building allows us to consolidate our production processes in one location, leading to significant operational optimization. This enhancement not only bolsters TitanX's competitiveness but also improves our business efficiency. The facility has been customized to meet our specific requirements, and we have been impressed with the CTPark Opole complex’s functionality and usability for nearly six years now.”
TitanX Engine Cooling has been a tenant at CTPark Opole since 2018, initially leasing 11,582 sqm and becoming one of the first CTP tenants in Poland. Over the years, the company has expanded within the Opole complex, leveraging its strategic position bridging Eastern and Western Europe. Future plans include a further expansion of almost 8,700 sqm.
Cedric Huslin added, “CTPark Opole's strategic location near major transport routes and in the heart of the automotive industrial cluster greatly benefits our business. The Opole plant is crucial for increasing our European market presence and plays a significant role in our journey towards sustainable transportation. It may also provide opportunities for TataAutoComp, TitanX’s parent company, to extend its reach in Europe.”
Bogi Gabrovic, Deputy Country Head at CTP Poland, stated, “Our collaboration with TitanX Engine Cooling has led to a total lease of nearly 27,000 sqm at CTPark Opole. Understanding TitanX’s specific needs has enabled effective partnership. We’ve incorporated custom features like fanlights at no extra cost, and constructed the OPO3 building to their specifications in just nine months. This exemplifies the strong teamwork between TitanX and CTP, allowing for rapid expansion in manufacturing and progression towards a green transport future. In the demanding automotive sector, having a safe, sustainable development environment is invaluable.”
The CTPark Opole complex will eventually feature four buildings, offering over 80,000 sqm of rentable space. It boasts BREEAM certification, options for rooftop photovoltaic installations, and a BMS system.
