What started in 1979, the year the company LISSMAC was founded, with only one type of machine has grown into a comprehensive product line: Several thousand stone saws, joint cutters, masonry working platforms and mini cranes leave the plant located in southern Germany every year.
As a manufacturer of machines in the field of "cutting and separating technology", we consistently followed a path to become a manufacturer of top quality diamond tools as well.
Over the years, our line of serially produced machines was supplemented with customised special-purpose machinery and plant.
In order to meet the steady growth of the company, Plant 1 started production in spring 1993 equipped with the latest production systems.
In 1999, additional capacities were realised with the construction of the annex.
Today, LISSMAC features 12 000 m
2 of production and office space.
LISSMAC has always been a driving force in the field of construction due to its innovative developments and enthusiasm for modern building techniques. LISSMAC is today a market leader in the field of masonry and stone cutting technology based on its well-developed and technologically advanced spectrum of products and services. LISSMAC products are highly regarded and are in use worldwide.
Rationalisation solutions for sheet metal cutting
To make available efficient diamond tools and special building machines to the construction industry was the wish of the grounder of the company LISSMAC Maschinenbau und Diamantwerkzeuge GmbH in the year 1979. Growing steadily, the business, with its home in Bad Wurzach, Upper Swabia, has in the meantime produces several thousand building and production machines such as floor cutters or stone cut-off saws and particularly individually built special purpose machines and complete plants on an industrial scale in all required degrees of automation.
In 2000, LISSMAC extended its product range with innovative handling technology which is marketed through the business division MT Handhabungs- und Robotersysteme GmbH (MT handling and robot systems). With the consistent improvement to their own in-house production process techniques, LISSMAC developed, in the year 2002, an innovative steel brushing machine for the efficient removal of the oxidisation layer on sheet metal cut edges, particularly that resulting from laser cutting. In continuous further development of the steel brushing machine, LISSMAC now offers the sheet metal working industry an efficient grinding machine. This machine is principally deployed in processing the edges of stainless steel plates.
