According to the announcement, funding realised from the investment achieved in cooperation with A.Celli, the press section of the mill has undergone a modernized refurbishment with the addition of a new hydraulic reel equipped with a central cutting system, reel spool storage, automatic threading web system, automatic core feed/removal system. Also, the mill upgraded its stock preparation: automated filling line and automatic control system which have all been successfully installed. The equipment for stock purification has also been upgraded, and the hood overhaul of the paper flash drying system has been completed.

The implementation of this project is aimed at improving the quality of the base paper and to increase the PMM 2 speed to reach 1200m/min. The project has been executed by KCPM specialists and the contractors at a high professional level and in accordance with the approved project schedule.
