FlixBus, a German-based bus service provider, has announced the inauguration of a new international bus route connecting Vaasa in Finland to Warsaw in Poland, commencing July 27. Covering a distance of approximately 1070 kilometers, the entire journey lasts around 27 hours, traversing Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. One-way fare starts from EUR 52.99.
An eco-friendly ferry ride between Helsinki and Tallinn on the Baltic Sea is part of the service offered to travelers. In its route to Warsaw, the bus makes stops at several cities, including Tallinn and Pärnu in Estonia, Riga and Jelgava in Latvia, Siauliai and Kaunas in Lithuania, and Suwalki and Lomza in Poland.
Customers can make their bookings via the FlixBus website or its mobile app.
Additionally, in June 2023, Finnair revealed its intention to launch a new WrocĹaw-Helsinki route, reinstate the GdaĹsk-Helsinki connection, and increase the frequency of flights on the Kraków-Helsinki route (summer 2024).
