Mondi, the international packaging and paper group, met with about 400 representatives of mostly Russian companies at RosUpack 2015, the packaging trade fair that took place in Moscow in June.
Continued commitment to Russia and Eastern European market demonstrated by showcasing wide ranging product portfolio at RosUpack
Albert Klinkhammer, Director of Marketing and Communications, Mondi Europe & International, said, “Our theme this year was ‘Get in Touch with Mondi’. While our ‘Snegurochka’ office paper has been a leading brand in Russia for many years, Mondi packaging products touch the lives of millions around the world, every day. With our wide-ranging packaging exhibit, we showed potential customers there’s more to Mondi than they might expect. RosUpack was again an excellent platform to get in touch with our customers and other stakeholders.”
Nearly all Mondi’s business lines were represented this year at the company’s 160 sqm booth, including containerboard, speciality kraft paper, industrial bags, extrusion coatings, advanced materials, consumer goods packaging and uncoated fine paper. Mondi packaging and paper experts were available to discuss the wide range of high-performance, innovative and sustainable packaging solutions designed for a variety of industrial and consumer uses, such as retort pouches, BarrierFilm, AirXLiner, SPLASHBAG, ProVantage Komiwhite, Advantage Formable White and IQ office paper.
Pavel Kolegov, Technical Customer Service & Marketing Manager, Mondi Containerboard, gave a presentation on shelf-ready packaging at an international scientific conference held in the framework of the RosUpack. Shelf-ready packaging is useful not only for the protection and easy handling of consumer goods, but also as a tool for brand identification. Shelf-ready packaging made from Mondi ProVantage Komiwhite has a bright, smooth surface that is ideal for brands that wish to advertise themselves with high-quality, multicolour flexo printing.
In Russia, Mondi has sales offices in Moscow (for consumer goods packaging, industrial bags, containerboard and uncoated fine paper) and production operations in Syktyvkar (containerboard and uncoated fine paper) and Pereslavl-Zalessky (consumer goods packaging).
