Starting November 1st 2015, big changes are coming to John Deere Forestry Oy that will affect its dealer network in Central Europe. Firstly, in Germany, Kotschenreuther Forst & Landtechnik GmbH & Co. KG discontinued sales of John Deere forest machines which will instead be sold through Nuhn GmbH & Co. KG with support from a number of service partners. Changes have also been seen in Switzerland as a new dealer, Robert Aebi Landtechnik AG, was opened. In 2018, the distribution responsibility in Switzerland will move across to Robert Aebi Landtechnik AG but for now, the long-term deals with Buhrer and Richter AG and Aggeler AG will remain.
Kotschenreuther, whose headquarters is based in Neufang, will now mainly deal with the sales of their own brand products as well as John Deere’s products for agriculture and turf care. John Deere believes that these changes will give its companies and its employees the best possible chance of growth as it looks to expand in the four locations they operate in.
