The automotive industry in Czech remains one of the most advanced automotive markets in the CEE region. The Czech automotive sector characterized by a deep tradition and advanced technology has successfully been transitioned into a European advanced automotive base while retaining its commendable quality/price ratio.
The automotive industry in Czech employs over 150,000 workers, and it is responsible for over 20% of the Czech manufacturing output and exports (AIA, 2017). The Czech automotive Centre of Excellence occupies a significant position in the European market and on the global scene.
With a production rate of 128vehicles per 1,000 users for passenger cars, the Czech Republic has maintained its superior position as a leading business in the automotive industry regarding per capita output.
