One of the largest European furniture manufacturers Fabryki Mebli “Forte” S.A. has launched the production of its new particleboard line in Suwalki, Poland. This launch took place on February 3, 2018. The reports indicate that the new line has a production capacity of 1500 m3 particleboards per day.

The equipment for this new line in Poland was supplied by Siempelkamp. It includes a ContiRoll® press and other components of the finished particleboard line. A subsidiary of Siempelkamp, Büttner was contracted to install the turnkey systems which include a 49.9 MW energy plant and a drum dryer with a drying capacity of 42.4 t/h bone dry.
