The assembly of the plant is scheduled to begin in October of 2009; the first board is forecast for April of 2010. This order was preceded by a design contract which was successfully executed by Sicoplan, Belgium. The plant guarantees a significant market share for ZAO PDK Apsheronsk, not only in the region of Krasnodar but also in the entire Russian MDF market. The signing of the contract marks a long anticipated start of an important project for us, Mr. Albert Aschikarjan, managing director of the company, explains. Our region has the resources to supply the plant with raw materials. Furthermore, a new MDF plant will create many jobs and will secure these jobs for years to come.
