For over 30 years in Katowice – the city placed in mining heart of Poland specialists from EMAG Centre engineer and implement technologies which modernize the industry processes.
Poland is the biggest coal producer in the European Union. EMAG Centre is one of the main suppliers of modern technological solutions for local mining.
We specialize in creating safety systems, communications systems, measuring devices also in research-science services, testing and training. EMAG Centre is also a leader in many market segments (the company produces roughly 89% of all methane-meter systems successfully implemented in Polish mines). EMAG’s brand is well known also outside Poland - among others in: China, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.
International cooperation means not only sales of products and services in foreign countries. It also involves participation rt in research projects funded by European Union within Coal&Steel and Eureka funds, which are implemented in cooperation with partners from Britain, Germany, Spain and Greece.
In EMAG’s trade offer we can find several hundred products and services. The most popular and highly valued are: SMP-NT/A system (micro-seismic system for monitoring parameters of the atmosphere in mines), ARAMIS M/E (micro-seismic system for tremor location) or ARES 5/E (seismic acoustic system for rock burst hazard estimation).
Another device that deserves attention is WALKER portable ash meter (EMAG is the only producer in Poland and one of a handful of world producers of devices of this kind), laboratory-technological coal quality analyser GAMMA NATURA and hearing screening audiometer for newborn children designed to provide fast hearing tests for infants. The audiometer proves that EMAG is a major producer of modern and advanced technologies not only for mining.
So far EMAG has obtained hundreds of patents, copyrights and registered trademarks as well as numerous awards and honours. One of the most important of them are Gold and Silver medals granted during 106th International Fairs of Invention “CONCOURS LEPINE” in Paris and a Gold Medal awarded during 55th World Exhibition of Innovation, Research and New Technologies Eureka (Brussels).
