Well Positioned for EU 2030 Targets

With its current performance, Slovakia is on track to meet — and potentially exceed — the European Union’s 2030 goal of recycling at least 55 percent of plastic packaging waste. Continued improvements in waste management infrastructure, collection systems and public recycling habits reinforce Slovakia’s strong long-term outlook.
