Malaysian retail giant Mr. DIY is accelerating its European expansion, positioning Poland as its key hub for Central and Eastern Europe. The company is opening four new stores in Warsaw this summer and is expanding its Polish logistics centre to support growth not only in Poland, but across neighbouring markets as well.
After establishing a strong presence in southern and central Poland, Mr. DIY has now entered the capital. According to Magdalena Nazarewicz, Business Development Manager for Mr. DIY Poland, the retailer officially opened its first Warsaw store on 18 July. Located in Galeria WileĹska, the 1,072 m² location is noticeably larger than earlier stores launched in Zabrze, Kraków, Piotrków Trybunalski and Bielsko-BiaĹa.
The move into Warsaw marks a significant milestone for the company. With multiple openings planned and logistics capacity expanding, Mr. DIY is clearly preparing Poland to play a central role in its long-term European growth strategy. The country’s strong consumer market, competitive operating costs and strategic location make it an ideal base for regional expansion.
