Leroy Merlin has introduced dedicated outlet areas across its stores in Poland under the motto “Selling is better than throwing away.” According to the retailer, nearly one million products have already been sold through this format. The offer includes display pieces, discontinued lines and items with minor imperfections. Before reaching the outlet shelves, each product undergoes a three-stage quality check by sales, logistics and security teams to ensure safety and usability.
The initiative is part of Leroy Merlin Polska’s ‘Robi Klimat’ strategy and supports the company’s long-term ESG goals for 2026. These objectives include lowering greenhouse gas emissions across the full value chain (Scope 1, 2 and 3) and expanding circular-economy solutions. By extending product life cycles and reducing waste, the outlet areas contribute directly to the retailer’s sustainability commitments.
