On 21 June 2009 Fujitsu officially opened its new IT service centre (CUI) in the Lodz Special Economic Zone. The Fujitsu CUI seat is located in the Textorial Park office complex. Last year the company signed an agreement to rent 4,000 m² of space in the building for the next seven years.

Fujitsu’s call centre will provide IT services for the company’s European clients from a range of sectors, among them financial companies, airlines, media houses, and public sector companies.

Currently, the company employs about 60 people, but it plans to hire 200 new workers by the end of the year. By 2011 Fujitsu plans to have 500 staff.
