Cisco has announced the Linksys by Cisco Media Hub product family in Poland. The Media Hub is a home entertainment storage device that organizes photos, music and video and can aggregate and show all multimedia files from computers and other media sharing devices connected to the network. All media is accessible through the easy to use user interface.

The Media Hub offers a complete solution to organize complex media collections. The user interface is designed in such a way that people that are not technically oriented can easily find and access their media. All multimedia files like photos, video and music are presented with thumbnails or album art.

The Media Hub’s sleek look can constitute as an element of a modernly designed interior. Its operation is very silent. Additionally the NMH405 and NMH410 are equipped with an LCD and a card reader – allowing users to backup their photos directly on the Media Hub, without the need of computer.

All Media Hubs are shipping with a PC and Mac compatible installation CD. With the Media Hub Cisco also provides backup software, that can be used to back-up data to the Media Hub. It also comes with a tool called the Media Importer, that can monitor folders on the users PC and copy new media files to the Media Hub once they are stored on the PC.
