The Dutch, Germans and Austrians are the biggest foreign owners of Czech companies controlled by foreign entities but domestic entities still control nearly 57 percent of the overall registered capital worth KÄ 2.078 billion, financial information agency Äeská kapitálová informaÄní agentura (Äekia) reported. The volume of foreign capital in Czech firms grew by KÄ 200 billion over the past three years while the amount of Czech capital rose by KÄ 150 billion, Äekia said. Owners based in the Netherlands hold more than one quarter of the overall value of registered capital in Czech firms controlled by foreign entities. Germans follow with 12 percent and Austrians with 10 percent.
