One of the largest European furniture manufacturers, Fabryki Mebli “Forte” S.A., has commenced production at its new particleboard line in Suwalki, Poland on February 3, 2018. With the addition of a new line, production capacity will be increased by 1500 m³ of particleboard per day.

The equipment was supplied by Siempelkamp; it includes a ContiRoll® press and the entire finishing line which was placed in May 2016. The Siempelkamp subsidiary Büttner also installed its turnkey systems which included a 49.9 MW energy plant and a drum dryer with a drying capacity of 42.4 t/h bone dry.

It has also been reported that Siempelkamp has recently increased its shareholding in the Pallmann Maschinenfabrik.
