The decision, we read on the Department’s website, is a result of exceptionally close relationship between the USA and Poland, which effectively strengthens strategic and commercial co-operation between the two countries. The USA Department of Commerce encourages American entrepreneurs to benefit from the variety of business and investment opportunities offered by the Polish market, arising thanks to the country’s gifted cadre, relatively low labour costs and a central geographical location facilitating access to large market as well as from benefits resulting from the country’s accession to the European Union. The Department attracts attention also to the fact of Poland being local leader in regard of foreign investment in BPO centres i.e. call and back office centres as well as R&D centres.
