Currently, AS Uuemoisa Teenus is owned by the municipality of Ridala in Estonia but this is all about to change thanks to an offer for the full company by AS Tootsi Turvas. According to reports, 8 GWh is the current level of heating sales of the company being purchased which has recently been completed renovated. For fuel, the plant is known for sourcing local wood and peat.

After being founded in 1919, Tootsi Turvas produces energy peat, wood fuels, heating, and agricultural peat. Over time, they have built up a solid reputation and have eight plants as a result as well as five district heating networks within the country. As a subsidiary of Vapo Oy, the parent company and Valio recently signed a production of heat and steam for the dairy of Valio in Finland which is set to cover around twelve years.
