The new model of the smartphone by Apple, iPhone 5, will appear in the Russian market only in December 2012, i.e. at least two months later than in the USA and Europe. In the USA the sales of iPhone 5 will start on 21 September.
Russian internet shops tend to misuse the situation and will offer the new iPhone already in September for 70-80 thousand rubles ($ 1 870 – $ 2 500) in comparison with the forecast cost for iPhone 5 in the USA $ 600.
About 30-40 thousand of the new phone may appear in the Russian market in the first weeks of sales. About 300-400 thousand may be sold within a year in the country, considers an analyst of Mobile Research . |
