Saint-Gobain spent EUR 6 million in a new laminated glass production line in its Romanian factory , according to a Sept . 13 Romania-Insider report . Almost 20 % of the modern laminated glass is going to go to non-residential projects such as commercial and office design .

The manufacturing facility presently employs 540 staff and delivers 20 million square meters of glass per annum . The modern production line’s capacity is 2 million square meters a year which enables it to create an additional 35 jobs , as stated by the report .
