Krakow is the first Polish city to receive straight As from the rating agency Standard & Poor’s.

The reason for the increase, up from straight Bs a year before, is the strong economic development of the city, good financial results and solid financial policy, says the agency. In addition, Krakow’s economy is developing faster than elsewhere which allows the city to generate high income.
