Strategic advisory company McKinsey will open an R&D center later this year in WrocĹaw.
"We want to employ highly skilled analysts who will develop modern business knowledge. The center will provide services to consultants and specialists of McKinsey in Europe and on other continents," said Jacek PoĹwiata, managing director of McKinsey & Company in Poland.
The firm is planning to create 35 to 100 jobs in the center, but it will look for employees not only in Poland, but also worldwide. The decision of the company is proving that following the development of simple back-office centers, Poland now stands a chance of attracting more advanced ones.
"This project is perfectly fitting into development of a knowledge based economy in WrocĹaw. It is particularly important to me that WrocĹaw was appreciated as a location offering a high standard of living, as this is the only place for locating such centers...," said RafaĹ Dutkiewicz, mayor of WrocĹaw.
