Finnish industrial enterprises are once again searching for grounds of manufacturing in Estonia, decreasing the possible areas for such expanding in great speed.
Kent Lindholm, one of the owners of the Finnish company Muoviura, explains the new wave in industrial inhabiting with low labour costs, essential for companies with a large number of employees. Muoviura is planning on using 5000 square metres of a former paper-factory near Tallinn.
Reimax Electronics, having expanded on 2500 square metres in Tallinn, made the decision because of low wage-rate, says a member of the board, Reijo Laine.
Some companies have also built brand new buildings. Trafotek OY started its work in Estonia in May, having built a factory near Tallinn.
There are also manufacturers from other countries searching for possibilities to expand in Estonia.
