Stora Enso is a global renewable materials and packaging company having its headquarters in Finland. The company’s Ostroleka mill in Poland was built in 1959. The mill includes a pulp and paper mill, paper sack plant and a corrugated board and boxes plant and Its core products are industrial papers for corrugated boards and boxes.The mill can produce 270,000t of containerboard and kraft paper annually and has over 26,000 employees in over 35 countries.

The company has invested in a new shredder and a metal separator at its mill in Ostrołęka, Poland. The new shredder, which is expected to process around 60 tons of rejects per day, is slated for kickoff in January 2018.
The well-proven shredder, size FRX2000, features powerful pre-shredding of different raw materials. Its innovative CoverCross knife system and pusher technology guarantee consistent quality. The shredder is expected to be installed upstream of the reject treatment system, and this will be part of the 455,000 tons per year board production line for which Andritz delivered the complete OCC line including its reject treatment.

The FRX shredder, is part of the Andritz Franssons product line, a leading global supplier of complete plants, systems, equipment, and comprehensive services for the production and processing of all types of pulp, paper, tissue, and cardboard. And the new shredder will process rejects from the pulping processes of two existing board production lines.
