A co-op of 400 farmers from Transylvania have purchase a sugar factory from the French company Tereos.
Romanian farmers buy sugar factory from French Tereos, the company planned to close the factory which was set up in 1960. The Co-op of Beet growers brought the factory to help protect their farming businesses. Currently Romania imports 75% its sugar and this factory is only 1 of 2 in Romania. |
