By working voluntary as Bosnia and Herzegovina's FIPA Country Representative in Japan, Shigehiko Nishihama, gave its contribution to establishing the economic cooperation between FIPA and Japan.

Focused in recent years on promotion of the B&H tourism sector in Japan, Mr. Nishihama had several presentations for Japanese tourist agencies, airlines in Japan and Japanese people in order to attract their interest for Bosnia and Herzegovina and to encourage them to organize visits to our country.

Thanks to the activities of the FIPA Country Representative in Japan with support of FIPA H.Q. in Sarajevo, Japanese tourist agencies started since 2004 to send group tourists to BiH, especially to Mostar, Sarajevo, Međugorje and Neum. Now, he is working on promotion of tourist potential of Jajce and Visegrad due to their historical and cultural importance, but also on promotion of Banja Luka and Fojnica.  Source; FIPA
