Sveza has obtained approval from the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia (the FAS Russia) to proceed with the acquisition of Tyumen Plywood Plant from its current owner Almira Karimova. This planned acquisition was previously announced, and from current indications, the Sveza has secured 100% of the Plants shares.

 Tyumen Plywood Plant is one of the modern wood processing companies in Russia; its major production facilities were commissioned in 2008. The Plant produces about 92 thousand m3 of plywood annually. The company is specialized in the production of large format birch plywood.

 Sveza plans to further increase the production capacity of the Tyumen Plywood Plant to 120,000 m3 in the coming years.

Sveza has also recently introduced new plywood for laser cutting applications.
