CEE's biggest IT company Asseco Poland could become Europe's second-biggest IT firm, if it succeeds in the current acquisition negotiations, the firm's CEO Adam Goral has announced.

In mid-May, he said that Asseco was in talks on two "major" acquisition projects, but stressed they were at a preliminary stage.

At that time, Goral said that Asseco had resources to finance one of these projects, while the structure of the other transaction would be more complex, although it would also not require any market or new issue financing. However, one of these projects would likely lead to dilution of current shareholding.
