Since 1981, TCS Süssen GmbH has been developing ECAD/CAE software for the electrical engineering and computer process controlled design and projection (hardware) of machines and constructions. Today, the medium-sized business belongs to the leading CAE/DMS-providers. Regarding the field of object oriented technology (OOT) in developing innovative and forward-looking CAE/DMS software, TCS takes a pole position. For many years TCS specialized for CAE tools for consistent and timely planning and projection of ET and MCE technical details and DMS tools for conforming to standards creation of documentation – and this is also our core competence.
As CAE/DMS software provider we are developing products based on object oriented technology for highest demands always corresponding to the requirement to „state of art“. As a CAE/DMS solution provider are developing CAE/DMS plant solutions for the industry together with renowned companies. These solutions can be used universal and they are always up to date for engineering tasks. As CAE/DMS service provider we are migrating older documents, no matter whether they're on paper or on ECAD format. Through this migration service and the migration tools, TCS is supporting in implementation of consolidation and standardization projects.
Our Business Objectives
As a leading IT company we develop and market trendsetting CAE/DMS tools. OOT-based, our tools provide for an increase of added value for planning and projecting of electrical engineering and process control engineering of machines and facilities. To standardize the whole documentation means to place the technical documentation as a central subject in comprehensive disciplines. We support the industry in IT-consolidation and standardization projects.
Our business objectives at a glance:
* Solid economic growth and independence * Extension of our technical market leadership * CAE/DMS solutions for object-oriented and knowledge-management technology * High customer satisfaction * Universal business solutions for an ambitious market of planners and operating companies * High-end product development "Made in Germany" for a challenging industry * Added-value in the complete engineering workflow * Guaranteed protection of investment for the engineering-data * 100% migration of legacy data
Philosophy
“Due to the enormously increased requirements in the complexity of machines and facilities as in the higher specialization of companies on subtasks, new IT-solutions for electrical engineering and facility projecting are on the way up. For these requirements new IT-tools for simultaneous and concurrent engineering on different sites are needed. Hence integrated IT-methods and solutions for the facility engineering are needed."
Mid of the nineties, TCS and Siemens I&S (Industrial Solution and Services) started together the development of a complete new 3rd generation of CAE systems as a result of these requirements.
Today, object oriented CAE/DMS tools for a consistent and timely ET and MCE engineering are available for the industry. Not only the tools for the engineering based value added in machine and facility construction are important but also the immediate provision of the complete technical documentation. We are working on an integration of DMS/CMS features into our CAE Framework to offer a complete solution.
To develop new CAE/DMS tools is our philosophy - to gain consistency in documentation without costly and time-consuming post processing is our goal. This is exactly what we achieve with our CAE Framework for projecting, commissioning and maintenance of machines and facilities. Deliberately we focused on that because all experts agreed upon that traditional Electrical CAD systems are not capable of a consistent engineering.
Electrical Engineering
Competence Center
With long-time experience since 1981 TCS Süssen GmbH gained a lot of expertise in the development of software products and software solutions. We and our subsidiary in India make this know-how available for our customers worldwide.
Expertise worldwide Both of our Competence Centers in Süssen (Headquarter in Southern Germany) and in Kolkata (India) are developing in close cooperation with renowned industry companies IT-CAE/DMS business solutions. As service provider for the migration of technical data we ensure a plant documentation "fit for use".
Framework for Electrical Engineering Solutions Our CAE/DMS modules ensure a process-oriented planning, projecting and documenting solutions. An interface management grants communication with ERP/EDM and DMS/CMS systems.
Consolidation and Standardisation We support the industry with our modern CAE/DMS tools in the creation of optimized engineering workflows. The result is the standardisation of work sequences and of the preparation of technical documentation.
Plant-Lifecycle (Protection of investment) To protect your investments in data and documents means to ensure through migration that all data and the whole documentation can be reused. We migrate your documentation in paper format to that digital CAE format you wish.
Universal Business Solutions Instantly applicable CAE/DMS business solutions for companies appreciating more efficiency in the use of their ECAD/CAE tools.
Interface Management Through the integration to ERP/EDM and DMS/CMS systems we ensure an exchange of data e.g. for SAP and Hybrix® *.
| 3rd Generation System for High-End Engineering CAE-System for electrical engineering (ET) and process control engineering (MSR) of machines and facilities. It offers also multi-user access and concurrent engineering. Additionally, this system has an integrated documentation and revision management. |
| The first 3rd Generation IT-CAE/DMS System Our IT-CAE/DMS System is an object oriented CAE Framework with a modern system-architecture and engineering-database.
With this CAE Framework it is possible to project and document consistently and conform to engineering-phases for the first time. All modules are based on object oriented software technology.
