Erlenbach is the technological leader in manufacturing machines for processing particle foam materials. The range of products extends from individual machines up to complete production systems for processing particle foams made of expandable polystyrene (EPS), expandable polyethylene (EPE) and expandable polypropylene (EPP). Up to now, approximately 7,000 Erlenbach moulding machines have been supplied to the global market.

The Middle Rhine has an international reputation. The Japanese, the Americans, the British - the whole world visits the Middle Rhine valley whose cultural significance was enhanced by its designation as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, which won further visitors.

Innovation through tradition

A little way from the Rhine and the droves of tourists but very much at the focus of mechanical engineering is another place that attracts attention thanks to an international reputation: Erlenbach machines; almost exactly half way between Coblence and Rüdesheim in Lautert. Erlenbach GmbH was founded in this location in 1957. The company produced moulded parts made of particle foam during the first 10 years. From 1967, a development was introduced: concentration from this point on was turned over completely to the design and construction of machines for processing particle foams. Since the end of the 1960s, over 6000 machines have been delivered. With an export proportion of over 90%, Erlenbach representatives are now to be found in over 40 countries.
