Ferromatik Milacron Maschinenbau GmbH is an independent European subsidiary of US-based Milacron Inc. The company develops, manufactures and markets injection-molding machines for the production of plastic parts throughout the world. Our main facility in Malterdingen (near Freiburg, Germany) employs a work force of about 500 employees. Two partner companies, Cincinnati Milacron in the USA and Ferromatik Milacron in India manufacture injection-molding machines for their local markets. Milacron is quoted on the stock exchange and has an annual sales of around $700 million. It employs 3,500 people globally and 85% of its business operations are focused on supplying the plastics industry. The Milacron group also includes Uniloy (Blow-molding equipment) and DME (mold making components).
FULL LINE – A Comprehensive Product Range
Ferromatik Milacron’s product range includes the hydraulic 2-platen machines of the MAXIMA series, the fully electric ELEKTRA line, and the fully hydraulic high-performance K-TEC series. Together the three product lines cover a clamping force range from 300 to 27,000 kN. Both our base models and customized machines to have played a role in the everyday work of plastics manufacturers since the 1950’s. Ferromatik Milacron is the European market leader in fully electric machines. In addition, Ferromatik’s high-performance and multi-component machines have been widely used in the industry or decades now.
