This particularly includes the impregnation of wood against mold infestation, blue stain protection, or insects (bark beetles).
The protective treatment must be carried out immediately after the wood is cut, as no adequate protective effect can be achieved on wood that is already infested. The most effective method for this is the automated dipping of the wood using a dipping system.
