Founded in 1993 from the single business in the current managing director Michael Heine Meyer on 01/01/1998 the SIT driving elements GmbH For the SIT is based in Milan Italy opened its German branch.

SIT has BrakelInnerhalb company building in a short time, this company also established itself on the European market. The growing volume of orders and the rising number of employees made necessary a change in location over time.

In September 2000 the new office in Brakel (Westphalia are available).

Another new development brought to the spring of 2006, new perspectives. With further enhanced storage capacity, a newly established Department for the timing belt assembly processing and an expansion of the disc manufacturing on CNC machines, the SIT is now a reliable partner of the customer. This is shown by the certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 by TUV Nord in November 2007.
