Clariant has a long history as a colorant supplier to the industry, dating back to 1886.
With our dedicated paper research and development team, we were a pioneering company to develop anionic direct (Cartasol F), cationic direct (Cartasol K) direct and modified basic (Cartasol M) liquid dyes especially designed for paper application and remain the only company with a complete range of colorants.
We have the most technologically advanced pigment products available to the paper maker today. Our products include the extensive Cartaren and Flexonyl LAP and Hostatint ranges, as well as specialized sulphur dyes - Diresul P, all specifically developed for use in the paper industry.
