The paint is transferred from a reservoir to the bevel area by the special disc.
The paint is transferred from a reservoir to the bevel area by the special disc. This disc is synchronized with the speed of the production line and is adapted to the bevel's angle.The coating thickness is adjusted over a wiper (adjustable in 1/100 mm increments).The cleaning of the unit is quick and easy, because the TransferDisc devices for waterborne paints are mostly Teflon-coated and includes a dew point controlled cooling system. The operators can easily change the Discs within a few seconds, which reduces the set-up time to a minimum.
In combination with the NIR-drying (Near-infrared) system of Schiele Maschinenbau the new TransferDisc technology gives the customer a compact, efficient and user-friendly method to paint the bevel area on flooring panels.
