Fritz Brumme founded the company in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, in 1949. Just one year later, he succeeded in developing a new material for diaphragms that increased the operating performance of fuel pumps in automobiles by a factor of almost five, thanks to its high resistance to mechanical wear and tear. Most European motor vehicles were soon fitted with Effbe diaphragms.
With the development of new materials suited to different industrial requirements, Effbe managed to extend its presence into new fields and ranges of application. Thus, today Effbe supplies diaphragms, elastomer moulded parts and vibration engineering to companies in a wide range of industries aside from the automobile and motor vehicle supply industries.
Effbe has been a member of the Woco Group since the year 2000. The many-facetted specialist
In its long history as a company, Effbe has earned a strong reputation above all in the fields of diaphragms and vibration engineering. We strive to maintain this know-how to the utmost, while holding to the guiding principle of the company: "We live in, from and for the market." As a member firm of the Woco Group, and especially within the Modular Technology division, we are also realizing extensive synergy effects to bolster our strong competitive position in automotive applications.
Yet Effbe's diaphragm engineering is also a strong factor for our current and future success on the non-automotive product market. In this field, we produce diaphragms for every application that can be imagined.
Vibration engineering is another strongpoint of the Effbe Group. The specialist firm Gamma, which develops bearing systems for aeronautics, complements our expertise in the high-tech segment
| Diaphragm devices The Effbe standard series provide you with high-quality diaphragm devices for control functions in the field of plant and mechanical engineering. As power elements, they are suitable for automatic production processes, individual assembly stations or as table presses for the workplace. All diaphragm devices have the advantage that they can be operated without requiring maintenance and that they transfer mechanical processes in a sensitive way. The attractive cost-benefit ratio is based on inexpensive housings and piston design, absolute impermeability and the separation of media, as well as permanent operational reliability.

| Machine bearing elements Effbe Levelmount® stands for elements used for the smooth, anchorage-free, non-oscillating installation of machines. The well-proven product range almost completely fulfills the demands placed on the resonant frequency of the bearing from 2.5 Hz onwards. The selected elastomer materials ensure trouble-free machine operation over a long period of time. The assortment is supplemented by damped and undamped air springs.

| O-RINGS Our extensive assortment includes the current commercially available dimensions, but is being continuously extended due to the fabrication of new tools.
Our standard quality: NBR 70° shore with dimension tolerances according to the DIN 3771 norm.
We meet the increasing demands of the market by manufacturing special O-rings with smaller tolerances and a higher or lower level of hardness and made of materials of higher quality such as FPM (fluoroelastomer), ECO (epichlorhydrine), HNBR (hydrogenated nitrile rubber), etc. Production is performed in medium-sized and large series.

| Shock & vibration absorbers The Gamma product range extends from normed standard elements to customized developments for shock and vibration absorption.
Our field of expertise includes the development, sampling and manufacturing of items according to your requirement profile, using state-of-the-art calculation and test methods. Our QM system is subject to the quality norm ISO 9001 and we have been approved by AECMA-EASE as a supplier for aeronautics.
Gamma bearing systems have been approved for aeronautics and are used in particular for advanced technological applications such as Efa, Rafale, Mirage 2000, Tiger, NH90, Leopard, Leclerc, Challenger, SNG- SNLE, P.A.N., Spot, Helios, Hotbird, M51, Mica, Aster, busses, suburban/underground railways or express trains.
